What is the general premise of the video?
The general premise of this video was that society spends too much time on their cell phones.
Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?
Yes, I think the video was very effective in conveying its message because it showed a series of short clips where people would not get off their phones, but there was one character that realized what was going on. The viewers felt sympathy for that character.
Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why?

I feel that this video is mostly a warning for society rather than an examination of our current social situation because even though people do use their phones a lot, the video exaggerates this. The video showed one clip of people walking off a cliff because the people were so involved in their phone, they were oblivious to the world around them. I think this was to make a point, because people would not actually walk off a cliff in real life.
